Your Privacy Choices
You decide how WellPeps uses your information. This page lists your choices and shows how to use them. It applies to everyone in the United States, whatever state you live in.
This page is a working template. The highlighted items below still need to be filled in, and a lawyer must sign off before it goes live. Each highlight is colour-coded by who handles it:
- You provide — a detail only you know (an address, an email, a date).
- Web team — a technical item the WellPeps web team completes. Nothing for you to do.
- Lawyer — a wording or legal decision for your attorney.
Just these items — everything else is handled by the web team or your lawyer:
- A privacy-request email address (we recommend privacy@wellpeps.com). Until you choose one, requests go to the general address below.
- Who inside your company owns these requests and makes sure they are handled on time (10 business days to confirm, 15 to act on an opt-out, 45 to answer an access or delete request).
- Whether a toll-free number is required for opt-out requests in the states you serve (your lawyer decides). No phone line is live today.
Web team: the switches, Global Privacy Control handling and the request form below work in the browser today. Server-side recording of choices (consent log) and online delivery of requests are written but not switched on until their Supabase functions are deployed; until then choices are kept in the visitor’s browser and requests go out as a pre-filled email. Remove this box when both are live.
Where things stand today
wellpeps.com does not sell your personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising. It does not use analytics or advertising tools, so there is nothing to switch off today. The switches below are ready: if we ever add such a tool, it will stay off until you turn it on. Web team: confirm the same is true for portal.wellpeps.com and checkout before publishing this sentence.
Your choices
Each switch applies the moment you change it, and the page shows what is running right now. Your choice is saved in this browser for twelve months, or until we change this notice. We do not use these tools on pages about specific health topics.
- Always on
Essential
Always on. These keep the site working and secure, and remember your privacy choices.
-
Analytics
Off unless you turn it on. Helps us count visits and improve the site.
Also allow analytics on pages about health topics
Off unless you separately allow it. Applies to the program pages and Learning Center. Advertising never runs there.
-
Advertising and sharing
Off unless you turn it on. Lets advertising companies measure our ads and show ads. Under some state laws this counts as a sale or sharing of personal information. It never runs on pages about health topics.
Other choices
These need a request, because they change what we hold about you or send to you.
Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting, or an extension you can add, that tells websites you want to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. We honor it. When your browser sends the signal, we turn advertising off before any tool loads, tell you we detected it, and keep it off. If the signal conflicts with a choice you made on our site, we follow the signal and ask whether you want to allow advertising anyway.
Limit the use of your sensitive information
Health information is sensitive personal information. We use it only to provide the services you asked for, keep our systems secure, prevent fraud and meet legal duties. We do not use it for advertising. If you want us to keep our use to that and nothing more, ask using the form below and we will record your choice and honor it. Protected health information held by the medical practice is covered by the Notice of Privacy Practices.
Withdraw your consent
Some health-related information is collected or shared with your consent, for example the topic of a free guide tied to your email address. You can take that consent back at any time using the form below. Withdrawing does not undo what happened before. To take back a permission you gave the medical practice for protected health information, follow the Notice of Privacy Practices.
Access, correct, delete, copy and appeal
You can ask to see what we hold about you, get a portable copy, correct it or delete it. If we say no in whole or in part, you can appeal, and a person who did not decide the first request will review it. Records held by the medical practice are covered by the Notice of Privacy Practices.
How to make a request
- Online: use the form below.
- Email: hello@wellpeps.com You provide: a dedicated privacy address, for example privacy@wellpeps.com.
- Mail: WellPeps, a Wyoming corporation, Attn: Privacy, You provide: a real business address (not the registered agent’s).
- Phone: Lawyer: confirm whether a toll-free number is required; delete this line unless a staffed line exists.
How we check it is you. We match what you tell us with what we hold, and we may send a link to your email address. We do not ask for your Social Security number. Opting out, limiting, withdrawing and unsubscribing need less checking than access or deletion.
How fast. We confirm we received your request within 10 business days. We act on opt-outs, limits, withdrawals and unsubscribes within 15 business days. We answer access, correction, deletion and copy requests within 45 days, and we may extend once by up to 45 days and tell you why. There is no charge. Lawyer: confirm these periods by state.
Authorized agents
You can ask another person to make a request for you. We will ask for your signed permission, or a power of attorney, and may confirm with you directly.
No unfair treatment
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price or give you lower quality because you used a privacy choice.
